Liangzhi You is a Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute(IFPRI). His research focuses on climate resilience, spatial data and analytics, agroecosystems and agricultural science policy. Gridded crop production data of the world (SPAM) and the agricultural technology evaluation model (DREAM) are among his research contributions. He has published 120+ articles in diverse and high-profile journals including Science Advances, PNAS, Global Change Biology, Agricultural Systems, The Economic Journal, and Agricultural Economics. Liangzhi earned a B.S. in hydraulic engineering from Tsinghua University in 1990, and an M.S. in environmental economics and Ph.D. in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 1999.
