Zuo Changsheng, male, born in April 1965 in Laixi County, Shandong Province. Currently, he is the DG of Bureau of State Farms of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He graduated from Beijing Agricultural University in agricultural economics in 1989, and received a doctor's degree in agricultural economics from China Agricultural University in 1995. From February to December 1997, he studied international trade in Australia and obtained a master's degree. He has worked in the Department of Economic Reform and Management, Department of Policies and Regulations, Department of International Cooperation, Rural Economic Research Center and General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture. He served as DDG of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture in 2008 and DG of the China International Poverty Alleviation Center in 2012. He has long been engaged in the theory and policy research of agricultural and rural economics.
