Takashi Yamano

Current responsibilities include conducting economic research and reviewing project economic analysis. Prior to joining ADB in 2017, he worked as Impact Assessment Specialist at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in 2011-2017. He worked as Professor at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo, Japan, in 2002-2011 and was a consultant at the World Bank, Washington DC, in 2000-2002. He obtained a joint Ph.D. degree in Economics and Agricultural Economics at Michigan State University in 2000.
