Dr. Sumanya Ngandee received the Bachelor of Computer Science, Master of Science Program in Applied Statistics and Doctor of Technical Science in Information and Communications Technologies, Asian Institute of Technology (Bangkok, Thailand). She is a computer technical officer in senior professional level for Office of Agricultural Economics, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative, she is currently serving as the Manager of ASEAN Food Security Information System (AFSIS). Due to the growing concern on food security in regional communities and the need for precise and timely information has always played an important role in addressing critical issues of food security. In a regional context, AFSIS has been one of the various mechanisms handling food security network systems to ensure long-term and sustainable food security in the region by providing food security information and analysis for policymakers to have constant access to reliable information. This collaborative of cooperation among the ASEAN Member States and Plus Three Countries.
