Sanath Ranawana is currently a Principal Water Resources Specialist with the South Asia Department of ADB. During his career with ADB spanning 20 years, he has worked in various capacities at the Sri Lanka Resident, the Thailand Resident Mission, and the Viet Nam Resident Mission of ADB. He also worked at the United Nations Environment Programme for several years while on leave from ADB. His areas of specialty are environmental and natural resource economics and planning.
