Environment Specialist of ADB, currently working on climate adaptation strategy and action plan, climate risk assessment and climate finance of loan projects, resilient rivers and lakes, ecological services accounting and eco-compensation regulation, ecological restoration of deserts, national parks, and fintech for plastic pollution control.
She has 26 years of working experience, including five years in ADB. Prior to ADB, she was a China State Council Expert with Special Allowance, and division director of affiliated centers of the PRC’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
She holds a Ph.D. in economics of natural resources and a M.Sc. in water resource management and climate change. She was a consultant of the World Bank, UN, APEC, EU, GIZ and Japan, and a visiting fellow on environmental economics in UK, USA and Sweden.
