Brendan Rice is a Research Specialist in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit, where he works on the Food Security Portal. Prior to joining IFPRI, Brendan worked for the FAO on projects related to agribusiness development and smallholder farmer-to-market linkages, as well as for the social enterprise KadAfrica in Uganda. He is currently completing a master’s degree in Sustainable International Agriculture, with a concentration in Global Agribusiness and Rural Development Economics, from the University of Göttingen, Germany.
