Cambodia-based, Steph Montgomery manages a range of horticultural development projects in India, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Kenya. These involve crops including apples, avocado, passionfruit and a range of vegetables. She has more than 20 years’ experience in international development, working in agronomy and specialising in conservation agriculture for broadacre rainfed and irrigated farming systems in Australia and SE Asia.
Her focus has always been to create sustainable farming systems which contribute to food security and the productivity, profitability and quality of the products, while ensuring protection of the natural resource base for environmental stability and longevity of the system.
She has been actively involved in international development projects at various stakeholder levels including government, philanthropic, NGO, independent consultancy, and corporate investment.
