Pedcris M. Orencio is a Senior Officer at the Food, Agriculture and Forestry Division of the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta. Prior to joining this post, he was an Associate Professor and Program Chair of the Diploma in Land Use Planning at the University of the Philippines Open University, and earlier the head of the research department at the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture in Los Banos, Laguna. At the current role, he is responsible for supporting the ASEAN cooperation related to crops and SPS measures through the promotion of practical and transformative solutions for implementing sustainable agriculture and circular economy in the region.
