Duncan has worked in the environment sector for over 14 years and has detailed knowledge of working in the construction industry. Duncan also has a wide variety of previous consultancy experience across a range of sectors as well as focused experience on biodiversity. Duncan has come to work at CCSD having been the ADB country focal for Armenia and Georgia in CWRD and he has worked in many other countries including Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Nepal amongst others.
Prior to working at ADB, Duncan worked as the BP Environmental and Social Site Lead for the South Caucuses Pipeline Expansion project in Georgia and before this he worked as an Environmental Consultant for Atkins and ERM being based in Edinburgh and Malaysia.
Duncan is a UK national, he graduated in Ecology from the University of Aberdeen before going on to study a Masters in Ecology and Environmental Management at the University of York.
